Fading away overtime with the ability to cope

Driving into depression without a permit

What is the essence of a promise than to be broken?

What is the essence of hope than to be taken away?

What is the essence of getting a heart as a love token?

What reason can I give you to stay?

What do I do now?

Do I fade into inexistence like my heart

Do I give in to sadness, to it do I bow?

Or do I simply try to recover hope that’s long gone.
